+ The lower rate found must be for the same hotel, same period of stay, same room type, same number of guests, same currency, same stay conditions, same cancellation and amendment policies

+ Rates on the other web site must be publicly available, viewable and bookable on the Internet at the time of verification

+ This guarantee does not apply to unpublished rates that are not meant for the general public

+ Lower rates available through opaque sites, where the exact hotel is not known until after booking, are also excluded from the guarantee
